# Similar Products

Find similar Amazon products for any ASIN with the Easyparser Similar Products API. Get 10, 50 or 100 related ASINs with brand, category, image and title.

### Overview

The Similar Products operation turns a single ASIN into a ready-made list of comparable listings from the same Amazon marketplace. Send one ASIN and Easyparser returns the source product together with a `similar` array of related ASINs, each carrying its brand, category path, main image and title.

Unlike a keyword search, this operation does not depend on how you phrase a query. Results are anchored to the product itself, which makes it a fast way to map the competitive set around a listing, discover alternatives, or seed larger catalog workflows. The size of the list is controlled with the `similar_limit` parameter, so you can retrieve a compact set of 10 products or go deeper with 50 or 100.

### Key Capabilities

* **ASIN-anchored discovery:** Start from any ASIN and receive a list of related products in the `similar` array, without building keyword queries.
* **Adjustable result size:** Use `similar_limit` to request 10 (default), 50 or 100 similar products in a single call.
* **Source product context:** The response repeats the requested product's `asin`, `brand`, `category`, `image` and `title` so every result set is self-describing.
* **Lightweight, consistent records:** Every similar item uses the same compact shape (`asin`, `brand`, `category`, `image`, `title`), ready to feed into DETAIL, OFFER or Sales Analysis & History calls.

### Use Cases

* **Competitor Mapping**\
 Identify the listings that sit closest to your product and track how the competitive set changes over time, using `brand` and `title` to group competitors.
* **Product Research & Sourcing**\
 Explore alternatives around a winning product to find gaps, variations and new sourcing ideas within the same `category`.
* **Catalog Expansion Pipelines**\
 Use the returned `asin` values as input for follow-up DETAIL, OFFER or Sales Analysis & History requests to build a full dataset around a niche.
* **Recommendation & Comparison Features**\
 Power "you may also like" or side-by-side comparison modules in your own tools with the `image.link` and `title` of each similar product.
* **Brand Protection Monitoring**\
 Watch for listings that appear next to your brand's products, including look-alike or copycat listings, by checking the `brand` field of similar items.
